Brigadier T. A. Beckett, CBE, Late Parachute Regiment, currently Director Commitments, Headquarters Land Forces, to be Deputy Commander Nato Rapid Deployment Corps — Italy, in the rank of major-general, in succession to Major-General D. A. Capewell, OBE, Royal Marines, in July 2010.

Brigadier J. G. Lorimer, DSO, MBE, Late Parachute Regiment, currently Assistant Chief of Staff J3 Permanent Joint Headquarters (U K), to be the Chief of Defence Staffs Strategic Communications Officer, Ministry of Defence, in the rank of major-general, in succession to Major-General G. K. Messenger, DSO*, OBE, Royal Marines, in December 2010.

Brigadier G. P. R. Norton, CBE, Late Grenadier Guards, currently Deputy Commander Regional Command (South West), International Security Assistance Force — Afghanistan, to be General Officer Commanding London District and Major-General The Household Division, in the rank of major-general, in succession to Major-General W. G. Cubitt, CBE, in July 2011.
