A total of 117 members of the Armed Forces have received honours and awards in the latest Operational Honours and Awards List. This includes two who won the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross - second only to the Victoria Cross for bravery, even though the Establishment lists them below "gongs" named after a defunct empire.

The full list, which recognises service on operations in Afghanistan and national operations for the period September 2012 to April 2013, is on the next page.
