Lt Gen Sir Mark Mans KCB, CBE, DL. Born 1955. Commissioned into the Royal Engineers 1974. During the Gulf War he was Officer Commanding 37 Field Support Squadron. Deployed in Bosnia. Deputy Commanding General of the Multi-National Force – Iraq, 2005. Deputy Adjutant General 2006, Military Secretary 2008. Commander of Regional Forces at Land Command, 2009. Adjutant-General to the Forces with responsibility for both personnel and support, 2009. QCVS 1996, CBE 2005 Birthday Honours, American Legion of Merit 2006. KCB in the 2012 New Year Honours.
