Major-General T.P. Evans, DSO, MBE, Late Light Infantry, currently Chief of Staff Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, to be Chief of Staff International Security Assistance Force Joint Command – Afghanistan, in succession to Major-General C. J. Boag, CBE, in December 2010.

Royal Navy

Royal Air Force
Lord Beaverbrook has been appointed the Honorary Inspector General of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force with effect from October 19, 2009, in the honorary rank of Air Vice-Marshal, in succession to Air Marshal (retired) I. D. MacFadyen, CB, OBE.
Air Vice-Marshal T. M. Anderson, CB, DSO, to be promoted air marshal and to be Director General of the Military Aviation Authority on April 1, 2010. This is a new 3-star appointment. Air Vice-Marshal Anderson's previously announced appointment as Deputy Commander-in-Chief (Operations) Air Command is cancelled.
Air Vice-Marshal A. D. Pulford, CBE, to be promoted air marshal and to be Deputy Commander-in-Chief (Operations) Air Command in August 2010, in succession to Air Marshal I. W. McNicoll, CB, CBE, who is retiring from the service.
Air Vice-Marshal C. W. Dixon, OBE, to be Commander Joint Helicopter Command in March 2011, in succession to Rear Admiral C. A. Johnstone-Burt, OBE.
Air Vice-Marshal C. W. Ness, CB, to be Director of Technical Airworthiness in the Military Aviation Authority on April 1, 2010. This is a new 2-star appointment.
Air Commodore A. J. Dey to be Deputy Commander Combined Air Operations Centre 1, Finderup Denmark, in August 2010, in succession to Brigadier Sliwka, Polish Air Force.
Air Commodore G. Moulds, CBE, to be Commander Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, on May 1, 2010, in succession to Air Commodore M. A. B. Brecht, CBE, whose next appointment as Air Commodore Air Staff, Ministry of Defence, in August 2010, has previously been announced.
Air Commodore R. A. Williams, OBE, ADC, relinquished his regular commission on November 17, 2009. He will continue exercising his responsibilities as Air Officer Wales and Aide-de-Camp to Her Majesty The Queen as a member of the Royal Air Force Reserve.
Air Commodore A. D. Stevenson, OBE, ADC, to be Assistant Chief of Staff A3 Headquarters Air Command, in June 2010, in succession to Air Commodore M. J. M. Jenkins, OBE, whose next appointment as Assistant Chief of Staff A7 at THE Permanent Joint Headquarters has already been announced.
Group Captain H. G. Donohoe was promoted air commodore on January 11, 2010, when he took over as Head of Typhoon, Defence Equipment & Support, in succession to Air Vice-Marshal C. R. Bushell.
Group Captain M. A. Sibley, CBE, to be promoted air commodore on March 31, 2010, and to be Head of Helicopters 3, Defence Equipment and Support, in succession to Air Commodore D. A. Whittaker, OBE, MVO, who is leaving the service.
